Creative Crafts Council

The Creative Crafts Council (CCC) is an umbrella organization of fine craft guilds in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. There are 12 Guilds that comprise the CCC. The CCC sponsors a juried biennial exhibition of regional fine craft artists.

The first Biennial Exhibition in 1954 and the next five were held in the Smithsonian Institution's Museum of Natural History. Since then, the Exhibition has been held at museums and galleries throughout the region, and since 1988 it has been held at the Strathmore Mansion in North Bethesda, Maryland.

The 2027 Creative Crafts Council 36th Exhibition will be held at the Mansion at Strathmore located at 10701 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD. Dates to be announced soon.
